Burlington Junction man sentenced to 20 years for murder

A sentence has been handed down in a Missouri murder case.

65-year-old Lawrence Davison, of Burlington Junction, was sentenced to 20 years in prison on Wednesday, after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the killing of his father. Lawrence Davison admitted to repeatedly striking his dad, 88-year-old Charles Davison, during a fight on January 23rd of this year, before calling 911. Charles Davison would die from the injuries he suffered nearly a week later.

In Post-Miranda interviews, Lawrence Davison admitted, “what I did was wrong.”
